Yet again I have been thoroughly trapped by the Raven these books are so well written you feel what they feel and it sucks you into their world. You can feel every up and down and can’t wait to read that all of it has worked out. I look forward to many more books telling the other characters stories but, mostly I can’t wait to read all of this in raven’s mind.

The Winning Side was definitely my favorite out of this series. The hardship, the tears, the happiness, the laughs, everything about this book made it magical and easy to fall in love with.
The Winning Side picks up right where The Same Side ends, and Raven and Lexi have an uphill battle to go through. Raven is dealing with what happened that night that he ended up in the hospital, Lexi is dealing with trying to figure out what went wrong, and if Raven still loves her, and they are dealing with the consequences of Raven's actions on the football team and at school.
Things definitely don't go well for these two. The things Raven has to deal with horrible, but at the same time, he brought a lot of it on himself and now it's time to pay up. Once Raven realizes he needs to be better, things are amazing between the two of them. I loved seeing Raven change in this book and be the man that Lexi deserved.
Things are great for them, and then something happens and it tears them apart. Watching Lexi go through this was heartbreaking and my heart really hurt for her. Thing keep getting worse and I didn't have a clue if these two would ever find their way back to one another. She was lucky and had the support of Shawn, Josh, Shelby, Luke, and Delaney to help her through it, and I loved how her friends really rallied around her and worked on helping her through everything she has been through.
I loved watching Lexi work on the relationship with her father, and the rest of her family. As much as I despised her mother, towards the end of this book, she really ended up growing on me.
This book is full of passion, laughs, and a ton of heartache. I would go from a happy high, to wanting to curl up under my blankets and cry for these characters. The Winning side is a perfect ending to this series and I loved how Raven and Lexi's story ended. We got closure on things that have happened throughout the previous books, and got the ending I know I wanted.
I will definitely be picking up more books by C.M. Doporto and as much as it sucks to say goodbye to these characters, I truly enjoyed this series and recommend it to everyone!
This story was sooooo slow. I started reading this series in 2014 I think and I breezed through the first two books. Then when I started the last one I stopped reading it. Fast forward three years later and I figured I’d come back and try to finish it since I’ve been on this kick lately about trying to finish all the series I have ever started. (This is gonna be a lifelong commitment. )
I don’t know if my tastes have changed but I found this book kinda basic. The scenes were going from showing to telling quickly with little to no transition. It was choppy and repetitive. And I found some things that just didn’t jive with the plot. It’s too bad. I really wanted to add this to my list of series finales for the year.
I feel in love with these books from the first book! I do have to say I did hate how the second one ended and that I couldn't wait to see how things were going to work out. The author did a great job with the layout and the book was well written. I had an easy time following the story line and getting into what the book had to offer.
The characters come alive to the point that I cried when they cried lol I am half way through the fourth book and loving it just as much as I love all of these.
I was happy to see that no matter what love came out on top and that everything that came their way they ended up working everything out even if it had to get so bad that there were thoughts of it being over. I feel that the author did a great job and representing real life situations into a book that can teach her readers at the same time of enjoying a good read too!
