I really felt a great energy and positive vibes reading this book, it is one of Michael Road's best for me, full of spiritual and life wisdom. I recommend experiencing this book for yourself. I also recommend attending one of his 5 day spiritual intensives in Queensland if you get the chance, it's a life changing experience. Choose Love, that's all I have left to say, thank you Mr Roads
Michael Roads book is very enlightening. I enjoyed the way it was set up with a small group of people asking him questions about how sees the world as a person who is "enlightened." I too consider myself "awakened/enlightened" and I felt a deep connection to his words and experiences. I super recommend reading this book if you want to expand your experience of life. His view of self, others and the world we help you see things in a totally different light.
I also have two books here on worth reading. Awaken 100 Question To Expand Your Mind and Open Your Heart & Finding The Voice Of The Soul by Joseph Bernard, Ph.D.
I started reading Michael j Roads books years ago. Then stopped. Two years ago I signed up for his '365 Steps to a Happier More Conscious Life', so I get a daily message, all very good and inspiring reads. So when this book came out I sent for it and am so glad I did. It a high frequency book, easy to read, will be easy to apply to your daily life, if you are drawn to do so. It's amazing to me that I have spent so much time creating discomfort for my body, mind, and spirit, even though I have spent the last twenty six years of my life working with and reading spiritual material.
Change, flexibility, fear, anger, all creating chaos in our lives. Every chapter has information and valuable insights on how to deal with this. We in the United States are certainly going through a time of upheaval. A little sign on my computer says, "Nothing is Random or Accidental. NOTHING! Since we are creating our lives, minute by minute, we need HELP and this book is the guide to help us through these trying times. And all the times ahead. This book is more than a valuable read, it may be a lifeline to those in need, which is really all of us. So A+ for the book, and A+ for the
author who spends a lot of his time helping those in spiritual need. His closeness and love of nature and it's energy are very inspiring. He goes a
step further than most relating his many spiritual experiences. So be prepared to be stirred up a little. I am reading his trilogy, "Through the eyes of Love" and recommend that too, highly. I am looking inward, reminders are necessary. Thank you Michael for the books and wife Carolyn for the emails, can't thank you enough.
I have been a fan of Michael Roads' books since being introduced to them in the late 1990's. I have loved them all and this was no exception. As an 8th degree black belt with a degree in engineering and a Masters degree in Psychology, I have always been interested in the science as well as the art of human development, which has been my life's work. Over the past 50+ years of studying the metaphysical/ spiritual teachings, I have read hundreds of related books and had numerous teachers. My path has been one of balance, a quality my earliest teachers emphasized and that I teach my martial arts students and counseling clients. My teachers took a pragmatic approach telling me to try what they taught and if it didn't work for me, throw it out as it would just be a meaningless philosophy. Similarly, Michael teaches that there are two ways to live life, one that works and one that doesn't. He teaches the way that works. I have tried what he teaches and it works for me. Two years ago I had the privileged of attending one of Michael's 5 Day Intensive Workshops. Michael is a Master Teacher who has experienced and lives what he teaches. His book presents the spiritual/ metaphysical teachings of his workshops in a concise and clear format, a dialog between himself and several people seeking answers to life's questions. If you are new on the spiritual path this book can accelerate your growth by giving you a blueprint to follow and help you avoid taking wrong or limited paths. If you've been on a spiritual path for many years, sometimes life's demands cause us to neglect our practices and this book can be the motivation and reinforcement you may need. Once I start reading one of Michael's books, I can't put it down this book is no exception. One thing I would have liked added was some of the guided imagery/meditations that he used in the workshop pertained to the concepts taught.
In this new book, Michael Roads has excelled, if that were indeed possible. I highly recommend this book for anyone who's struggling with life because unbenownst to them, they're not seeing a larger perspective. When I was very ill last month and faced almost certain death in hospital, Michael's words kept coming back to me, offering constant comfort. Now, in this book, he encapsulates what he teaches in his 5-day intensives - which if you ever have the chance - GO! Michael's ideas are life-transformative. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
